 
Sentinal Prime is Optimus Prime's processor and successor. He was in The Ark on the Moon after the ship crashed on it. After 40 years Optimus and Ratchet recovered him and Prime revives him with the Matrix hoping he could help the autobots protect the humans from the decepticons.
